A couple weeks ago, our 11 year old poodle mix stopped eating, was extremely lethargic and started vomiting. We didn’t want to take him to the emergency vet if it was something minor but it was the holiday weekend and we didn’t want to wait until Tuesday to get him in to our regular vet. A quick Google search found us Borchard Vet. From the first call asking if they could see our pup, they were so friendly, comforting, and helpful. Dr. G took the time to listen to us and understand the whole picture. He made all of us, even our not-so-friendly dog, feel comfortable (for reference, our dog usually has to wear a muzzle at the vet and the staff here were able to make him feel safe enough he never had to wear one). We are so grateful for Borchard Vet and Dr. G. Our boy is now back to his spunky self and we definitely didn’t spend what we would have at an emergency vet. Thanks, Borchard Vet staff!

We started coming here after we found out our old vet has come to this clinic. Unfortunately, she needed to take a leave, but we decided to stay. Everyone here has been so kind, welcoming and informative. Dr. G has been so patient with our dogs and provided compassionate care.

The Vet Team is the best of the best. They are kind, compassionate and generous. My Shih Tzu, Bella had serious skin issues The team treated me and my pup very well. Can't say enough about how great the team is at Borchard Veterinary Clinic! Not just excellent medical care, but on a Saturday evening, for a brand new client! We were so blessed, it was an urgent situation and they literally examined her right away, without an appointment, when 2 of the other emergency vets in the county weren't accepting patients and a 3rd with a long wait. Otherwise we might not have found this wonderful place!!! So grateful!! Oh, and their empathy and patience with us stressed nincompoops was really incredible!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I’ve been going to Borchard vet for years. The original vet I went to was wonderful but he retired. They found a new vet and he is amazing. My dog has chronic allergies and I’ve been to 5 different vets (other than this one) who have told me the same thing and given me the same options. This vet gave me other options and solutions to help my dog get better. The staff is very friendly and I can always get an appointment fairly quickly! Definitely recommend!

Love this place!! Had an amazing experience with them just now! Our dog had what we believed was a tick on his jaw and we took him in (very worried) at around 8:15 PM and two vet techs (one named Anali) Took us in with open arms, and as soon as we got there, took my dog straight to the back and helped check his growth and explain to us that it was a skin tag and not a tick. They did a very thorough job and made us feel very comfortable and even gave us some antiseptic and sent us on our way :) just very kind people and really good energy in there! Would 100% go back and recommend them

I took my German shepherd to get checked, the clinic was able to schedule me the same day. I was very pleased with their kind and prompt attention! Doctor Yogi is a great doctor and I’m am very lucky to have found such an excellent place to bring my pup for the next time! They are very professional and friendly! My pup felt relaxed the entire time there! Thank you Dr Yogi and staff!

Dr. Lowe and staff (Pam, Dr. Lowe’s wife etc.) where extremely knowledgeable and considerate in the caring of our Roxy (German Shepherd of 14 years old then) last year as we said good bye and until we meet again. Also not long after Roxy’s passing, we adopted Sadie, a 3 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog. They have again been awesome.

Our family thanks the staff at Borchard Veterinary Clinic for being there for us in our time of need. Thank you for staying late. Thank you for giving us time to say our goodbyes. Thank you for caring for our sweet girl in her last moments.

Just visited vet clinic today. Dr Meka and the staff are so kind. They do make you and your pet feel comfortable and quite attentive to my dog. No pressure at all. Dr Meka will tell you what your pet needs and he’s just so gentle as well as his assistant. Pam is very helpful as well. Thank you kindly….
